  • Yes there is a dress code; smart attire is required. We recommend dressing up, not down. We ask that guests not wear hoodies, caps, activewear, shorts, ripped jeans, sports trainers, flip-flops or beach sliders. Entry to Tanuki is subject to management’s discretion. 

  • Yes children and guests under 18 are welcome at Tanuki when with a legal guardian. No minors are admitted into the venue after 8pm.

    A ‘responsible adult’ is an adult who is: 

    a) A parent, step parent or legal guardian 

    b) For the time being standing in as the parent of the minor (‘generation gap’ required by the Venue – i.e cannot be siblings/friends etc).

    i.e A 19 year old boyfriend and 17 year old girlfriend does not qualify as a responsible adult. Nor does a 21 year old sister with her underage sisters qualify as a responsible adult.

  • Yes. We have an all day dining menu available from open till close.

  • Yes, Tanuki features a range of DJ’s from Wednesday to Sunday.

  • Please inform our reservations team (reservations@tanukisydney.com) ahead of time if your guests have any food allergies/requirements. We will try our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee that our food will be allergen free.

  • Unfortunately not. Table requests are accepted, however, not guaranteed.

  • Our cancellation policy is outlined during the booking process and can also be found in the confirmation email, sent at the time of booking.

  • Yes, but we strongly advise that you book a table ahead of time.
